ARA Damage Locator

When searching our inventory for body panels you may notice notes that look similar to:  “3.0 N-2”.  These types of notes indicate that there is damage on the body panel.  The first number “3.0” is the size of the damage and is measured in hours that it should take a body shop to repair the damage.  Each hour is defined by any type of damage that is smaller than a credit card.  The second number “N-2” indicates the location of the damage.  Using the guide below you can see that if the body panel in question is a hood, “N-2” would indicate the damage is located on the front center of the hood.  So “3.0 N-2” on a hood means that it should take a body shop 3 hours to fix the damage to the front center of the hood.
